  • Hey Halley! Something I definitely agree with is paying off your credit card bills. I am 27 and one of my only friends that was able to purchase a house so far because most of my friends are in debt. Why? Because they spend money they don’t have! So, paying off your credit cards quickly helps you see what money is really in your bank. Personally, I pay it off every 7 days. I only have a credit card so I don’t need to carry cash and, also, to get points!!

    • I couldn’t agree more! I pay it off days after it hits my account, but I do love the free travel points 🙂

  • I love this! And I have to say, at 33 years old, I think this list definitely applies to the ’30’s’ crowd as well! I also agree on the finances; my husband and I were married when I was 23 and he was 25… we bought our first house two years before that and we are now living in our second house. We are 100% debt free, we paid off our mortgage 3 years ago when I turned 30. I am also a stay at home mom, it IS possible! Great advice all around!

  • I LOVE this post! So so so necessary and I am definitely sharing. It’s so important to have these reminders every once in a while. Thank you 🙂

  • Love this! As a 20-something in her final year before the big 3-0, I definitely appeciate these affirmations!

  • I love all of these reminders! The paying off you credit card every month one is so true and useful!! The interest can be insane, I always make sure to pay it off. And also 100% agree that wine is a food group.
