I love trying out new products, especially when they come highly recommended. This month I branched out and tried a handful of new products that I ended up loving, and I think you will too! My February favorite beauty products include a little bit of everything.
This is the first MAC eyeliner I have tried and I love it. It goes on smooth, so it’s great for creating a dark hard line if that’s the look I’m going for. I also like to smudge my eyeliner on my waterline to create a softer look, and this eyeliner works great for that too. I have naturally oily skin and this eyeliner lasts me all day, which is extremely unusual and makes it a keeper in my book.
Worth every penny. Seriously, this hair spray is life changing. Okay, I’m being a little dramatic but this hairspray was recommended to me by a friend after she heard me complaining about my strong dislike for the crunchy texture my current hairspray was leaving in my hair. Most of the hair sprays I have used made me sacrifice hold or texture, but not Kenra. With Kenra Hair Spray I can still run my fingers through my hair and not have to worry about having flat hair by the time I get home. It’s also great for those of us that like to get a few days out of our curls! What more could you ask for in a hair spray?
My go-to day and night lipstick this month. I wear it under a gloss at night and I wear it over my chapstick during the day. One of my favorite things about this lipstick is that it feels weightless when I apply it and it stays on my lips even after I feel like it has worn off so I don’t have to constantly reapply.
4. MAC Zoom Lash – Rich Black
Great for a dark, bold look. I wear it alone to work during the day and layer it with another mascara for an even more dramatic look at night. This mascara is one of my favorite beauty products right now – every girl needs a mascara she can rely on. MAC Zoom Lash separates my lashes and adds volume with very little effort on my part. It’s great for someone who’s trying to get ready in a hurry and only has time to apply one layer – me most mornings!
I have a naturally oily t-zone, and this has become my go-to face mask. Whenever I feel a breakout coming or just need to revive my skin I apply this mask. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean, it dries up my problem oil spots without leaving my skin feeling dry. The only qualm I have about this mask is that towards the end it started to dry up. I added a little bit of water to it and was able to continue using it though.
This is supposed to be a limited edition palette, so I don’t know exactly how long you’ll be able to snag one! The palette includes highlighters, bronzer, and blush all in one compact. This is especially great for traveling. To be honest, I’m not a heavy highlight user. I apply it with a very light brush as a finishing touch to my night out routine – I very rarely wear it as a part of my daily regimen. I really like this particular palette because it doesn’t look like it’s sitting on top of my face or masking anything, it blends naturally with my makeup adding a subtle glow.
However, for those of you that like a more bold highlighted look, this palette is great for that as well. (I know this because if I use my thicker brushes to apply it, it is much more noticeable!)
All of these beauty products have been implemented into my daily routine (and I wasn’t paid to promote any of them). All of these beauty products were recommended to me by people I trust, and I couldn’t be more thankful! They are reliable products that all me to achieve the same results every time.
If you have any beauty products that you’re in love with, leave a comment below and maybe I will try them out for my March edition!
